For the price it's great. Works well and comes with oil. Very heavy but I think all vaccum pumps are.. not sure how accurate the specs are to what they advertise but it definitely pulls a vacuum fast.

Used for HR freeze Dryer . NO MORE LOW VACUME ERRORS. Needed to Fabricate a check valve. Needed to drill and tap for drain valve. Needed to use a motor starter Relay "00" size for power. & End Bell cover needed Shims, The fan was Interfering. Went with two pumps this one and original HR pump. Also needed one more suction line and a "JIC" "T" for plumbing. Would I do it again? Yes

At first I was pretty disappointed with this vacuum pump. It struggled to achieve the same vacuum as my old 1/3hp pump. But one of the previous reviews on this page pointed me in the right direction: the outlet filter is much too restrictive. Removing it (the cap that houses it can be opened by undoing one Philips screw) fixed everything, and now I can achieve 50-100 micron vacuum instead of the 400 microns that my 1/3hp pump was limited to. I've observed no ill effects from running without any filter, but I'm sure it's a warranty killer.

I could not get pump below 750 microns, also needs a 3/8" flare fitting. It's low power, so it has to be set pretty high to get a good vacuum but it works great. It gets hot if you aren't careful to take breaks, so make sure to give it a few minutes to cool down between runs. Not a heavy production unit, but great as a cheap bench top unit for hobbies, which is exactly what I bought it for.

Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Was mich stört ist das die Pumpe im warmen Zustand Ölnebel erzeugt.

Vacuum pump works great but the oil leaks out of the oil bin as it sets around, is there a gasket or other fix for that, thought I'd check with you before I removed the oil bin. Any thing you can do for me? I've lost all the oil and its a mess.

This is a nice piece of equipment and it pulls a vaccum in a very short time. My only beef is it does not work with 134a gages unless you buy an adapter. Why dont they just send and adapter with the unit.

Die Vakuumpumpe ist nicht schlecht – ich nutze sie für eine Vakuumplatte an meiner 3-Achs-Maschine. Was mir allerdings überhaupt nicht gefällt: Ich habe bisher nicht herausgefunden, wo man Öl für die Pumpe nachkaufen kann. Man findet einfach nichts dazu. Ich habe auch den Support angeschrieben, aber bisher keine Antwort erhalten.
