rsinclair0614 It doesn't have a pump to suck its own water out of a container, but it can b easily hooked up to a garden hose for the water supply
I use it to keep ice for fishing, hunting, and get togethers the only thing it doesn't have is a built in pump to suck water from a bucket of water but I purchased this thinking it did but that's my fault I should have paid more attention to the description of this product but it was simple to gook my garden hose up to it and it does great making ice so all in all for the price it's a really good ice machine in my opinion

The ice maker is good. It makes plenty of ice fairly quickly! Having this ice maker is very convenient for everyday use and parties!
The only thing that I would recommend improving is the ice maker door. When it is closed, it doesn't seal completely on the sides.

Makes ice really fast, the supply line connection didn't really work with any application I had, It melts ice quickly also, did not realize it had a drain tube, I just run it in a bucket and it melts about 5 gallons in 3 days and I have the ice machine in my cold basement.

Jim Stradtner Great bang for the buck
It makes hard ice. I had a little trouble with it at first because I have too much water pressure in my shop. Turned the supply valve down and problem solved. We have the unit turned to about 90% from max being we primarily fill water coolers with it. If you're looking for household ice you might turn down the hard freeze setting to make better cubes as the way we have it set it's more like cubed sheets. Very happy for the price point, I couldn't even have a repair guy look at my old unit for less than $150.
