User manual is very limited, there are some things to guess when preparing the device before first use. Good device for the Price! The pump is limited in vaccum capability: I was targeting 50mbar but I can get only down to 60-80 mbar.

This Vacuum works as it should. Sometimes the suction of the lid doesn’t quite lineup with the container as the rubber around the top of container is not very wide. But once you mess around to get it in the right spot it works great. If you find it’s not suctioning, just push down on the lid while it’s running at the start to help it Squish against rubber and it works fine from there. When you see the dial starts to move, you can let go of the lid. If you find it’s not working, you need to just fiddle around with the rubber seal on the container. I use it to vacuum RTV moulds for lost wax Jewellery.

Solid package, easy to use. Would love for the pot to be a bit thicker steel. The pump is surprisingly quiet and really quick. Actual vacuum that it can reach is 0.02 bar or 2000 Pa, which is good at this price point. Overall a good purchase and very good value for the money.

Le vacuostat permet de limiter le temps d’utilisation de la pompe, et permet de la préserver…

Works as expected so far. Seems to use a lot of oil but that might be the same for all vacuum pumps.
