Set looks good, but quality control is lacking. All SAE dies I tested could not cut a proper thread and had problems even chasing a thread on the different bolts I tried. All others taps and dies I tried appears to be ok. Blow mold case is off and some taps just fall out and thread gages don’t fit into there spot in the case. , another sign of poor QC. Contacted customer service a week after receiving the set regarding the problems with the dies but have not heard a response. VEVOR needs to improve the their QC and customer response if they want continued business. Will update after I get a response from VEVOR.

The set of tap and dies were advertised as having both right and left hand threads That is why I purchased this set. But there is no identification which ones are left. I have a specific need for left hand thread. When I queried how to tell which were left handed I received a reply advising I study the rotation of threads to determine the left hand taps and dies.

I want to warn those who may want to buy a set of taps and dies from this manufacturer. DO NOT BUY this terrible product. This set came to me with such terrible defects. It can only make it worse and not repair something. Moreover, that same evening I wrote a letter to return this set, I did not use it, and how can I do anything with it? To which they first replied that they could return me 12 dollars!!! and then they generally wrote that everything is fine with the set and decided to close this issue as resolved. Although the site has a free return item for 30 days. The service is very bad, as is the product I received.

Dette gjengesettet var ikke bra , mye av tappene ser ok ut , men diene er ikke bra i det hele tatt , jeg har testet ett par og de skjærer ikke overhodet , dette er ikke noe og bruke penger på , det vil bare bli en plage og du blir ikke fornøyd ( vet ikke om alle settene er slik som det jeg fikk , for det kan ikke brukes , ihvertfall ikke diene )

Tools have bad qualioty at all - for a precision tap tool, its just poorly machined

Absolutely terrible. They sent me the circle die wrench when this set has the hex shaped dies. I contacted them about it and they basically told me to kick rocks. Now I have a completely useless tap and die set because they gave me the wrong die wrench. I’ve been a vevor customer for a while now but not anymore. They will never get my money ever again.

Not good quality or workable.

Sehr enttäuscht, einige Gewindeschneider/Bohrer sind gar nicht verwendbar, mindere Qualität, bei vevor bisher immer mit allen Produkten sehr zufrieden gewesen, aber dieser Gewindebohrersatz geht leider gar nicht! Wirklich das 1. Mal sehr enttäuscht von vevor!

First China Vevor purchase and definitely the last. None of the dies stay in their spot in the case so when you open it have fun! It will be at least 10 min before you can put everything back. The machining on all the pieces is full a burrs and very rough thread cutters, to say the least. Total garbage.
