It's amazing how this little wheel works. Pros: it works, it's easy to clean, it's powerful enough. Cons: no bat pins, very short legs. Working on a solution to the no bat situation and stuck three bricks under the old suitcase it rests on. Honestly, for the price you can't go wrong. Not sure how long it will last but I'm pretty sure I will get my money out of it and become better at throwing!

Wish it had adjustable legs

L’appareil est en bon état de fonctionnement mais il est arrivé déjà abîmé (plusieurs endroits sans peinture ou avec coulures)

Pros: -price -easily center up to 3 pounds of clay -smooth control with foot pedal (speed consistent if you remove your foot from the pedal) -good speed range -comes to full stop (0 RPM) using foot pedal -no set up other than unpacking and plugging it in Cons: -too low to be used as-is (cinderblocks make it the perfect height for me) -loses speed when heavy pressure is applied (like centering, especially more than 3 pounds of clay) -electrical connection is in the way of my right knee and can get wet -no bat pins (I am thinking of adding them) -small wheel head I do not like throwing directly on the wheel head. I have found that a bat mate works fairly well to attach a ceramic tile or masonite bat. However, the bat mate must be repositioned every time and is not as stable as pins. I am thinking of drilling for bat pins. The wheel head is smaller than most bats, but the small overhang does not bother me. This is OK for now and I certainly do not regret buying it. As a beginner, this wheel serves my needs. I can see using it as a trimming or decorating wheel when I get a more powerful wheel.

Overall, the wheel is useful for small items. If you put too much pressure or weight on it, it won’t work. It would be nice to have longer legs and more space for tools. But because it’s design, you’ll have to figure out how and where to make your work flow better.

Great quality for the price.

A perfect size to put on table top or an individual stand, being able to be moved around the house easily and not occupying too much space. The machine itself is not very heavy but it is quite steady and stable when it throws. Very satisfied with it using at home.

Vevor permet d’accéder à du matériel à prix raisonnable. Alors évidemment, au niveau finition c’est un peu chiche, le formage des tôles, notamment est un peu grossier. Mais l’essentiel est là ! Le plateau est de bonne facture, le moteur est suffisamment puissant pour de belles pièces, l’utilisation est à la fois simple et les réglages proposés (pédale ou réglage manuel du régime, inversion du sens de rotation) sont suffisants, l’appareil est stable, les accessoires livrés suffisent largement. Alors évidemment certains professionnels diront qu’il y a mieux mais les amateurs débutants ou expérimentés apprécieront le rapport qualité prix et c’est ce qui importe.
