I am a beginner blacksmith. I ordered the anvil based on price and features. Since receiving it, I have used it on several projects. It's stood up amazingly well. I was afraid that it's lifetime was going to be short. From my experience with the anvil, I will be using it for years to come.

We wrapped a chain around the base to help with the ringing, and this anvil takes a good beating with out too much wear on to top plate. We are happy to have it.

Is this the absolute best of the best 65 HRC german anvil from the most expensive brand? No. Does this absolutely get the job done for 95-99% of people? yes I highly recommend this anvil for anyone who is starting out blacksmithing or just needs something hard to fix things on. Mine had some defects, but still works perfectly fine. I have made high quality damascus stuff on this anvil, and am planning on ordering a couple more. In my opinion, better than the alternative Doyle anvil from harbor freight which I also own. HRC tested this with my files and it came out to an avg of 53 HRC. Slightly lower than advertised, but the main anvil section was 57 HRC, better than advertised.

For the price the anvil is great. This is roughly half the price of a cheap anvil shipped. You will have to dress it and clean it up a bit, but again for the price the thing is great value.

This item is perfect for the small detail work I do. Doesn't take up excessive bench area. Sturdy but easy to handle. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Amazing experience. The anvil was received in 3 days, although the delivery guy wasn't enthusiastic about moving 140# box. The anvil was exactly as described, fantastic quality and very well finished. Vevor is my go-to company for tools like this! Well Done!
