Great knife sharpener.
30x1 pulgada
I am a mobile knife sharpener, I have watched and listened to others talk of this grinder. I had very high expectations, and it met all of them, almost. It is a great sharpener, I like the variable speed, torque, and the adjustability. It is quiet and consistant. With an aftermarket guide system, for angles, it is probably the best machine to start a sharpening business. My only slight against the system is the lack of instruction for the VFD. Oh it is simple enough that changing speed and reverse directions. But there is no explanation as to how it operates, no instruction at all. This is a failing to your customers. I would ask that you Find someone to write a good set of instructions as to how to change speed, set limits, reverse direction. Then have a competent AI translate it in to the languages of your customers. Thank you for your building a very competent machine. Please for you customer tell us how to use the vfd from the first day we own one. Thanks. Keith

Powerful little grinder
30x1 pulgada
Awesome little grinder. It has the torque and power you need no doubt. I would have given it 5 stars but for the lack of working table on it and such a short stand, I'm giving it only 4. If your just getting into blade smithing, or just want a powerful little grinder that doesn't t take up much space, I do recommend it. It's worth every dollar spent.

Great gateway belt grinder for the home hobbyist
30x1 pulgada
This is an incredible piece of equipment for the money. While it's not a 2x72 belt grinder, it's also 3-5 times less expensive and takes up considerably less room.
For the the home hobbyist, or maybe beginning knifemaker or fabricator that doesn't want to invest the time or space required for a 2x72, there aren't a lot of options.
This is replacing my old Delta 1x30 grinder, so I already have a collection of belts. However, you really can't compare the Vevor 1x30 to the Delta, or that old style of belt grinders.
The Vevor seems to be built from the ground-up as a mini 2x72 grinder. Tilting head to be able to grind horizontal, quick change belts, and a VFD for truly adjustable speed from very low, to incredibly fast. The DC motor has plenty of torque and it won't stall like the old style 1x30 grinders like my Delta.
So far I've ground some aluminum, steel, and some small wood projects and this has worked without issue.
This needs to be mounted or secured for use. I mounted it to a 3/4" plywood base, and drilled a couple of holes to hold the small table and the large contact wheel, but I may change that design and build a small drawer under the base; A large piece of MDF might be better as it has a bit more weight.
Vevor includes a few nice touches, such as the toolless lever to adjust the tool post, and another on the platen plate. However, everything else is a hex-bolt, so you need to keep hex wrench handy. I chose to add wing-head bolts instead, they were not that expensive, and are relatively esey to tighten by hand as-needed (see photos).
The other thing I did was add a thin strip of bike rim tape to the drive wheel. It's completely flat, no crown at all; and while my unit tracked fine, I think it works just a bit better with the added tape on the drivewheel.
I tried using the belt guard on the top, but it made belt changes rather difficult; so I've removed it and likely will just leave it off.
I only have a few hours on this so-far, but for my diy home-hobby workshop, it's a definite winner. Being able to store this on a shelf when not in use, and having all the power I need for small projects is easily worth the price for this belt grinder.

2x80 Belt Grinder Review - Recommended
82x2 pulgada
I have just brought this 2x80 Belt Grinder home, set it up, and gave it a test drive.
First the bad news:
1) The communication needs to improve. I was emailed that they couldn't find my location and they refunded my money. What they meant to say is the warehouse that delivers to Canada is out of stock. I ordered it again and had it shipped to a relative across the boarder in the U.S. and all was good.
2) It was delivered two weeks ago and it is now on sale for $715 Cdn where I paid $1002 - $50 coupon. We'll see how customer service handles that as I still have the option to return it within the 30 days. Even a gift card for the difference would be desirable.
3) It only came with one tool arm to be shared between the platen tool, the contour wheel tool, and the small wheel tool.
4) Pretty lousy paint job, but that's not important.
The Good News:
1) The belt grinder is a robust, heavy duty beast. Nothing was made cheaply here, with 5/8", 1/2", and 3/8" plate used everywhere. It came with a heavy 110V to 220V transformer, plus the 220V VFD, and the 2HP 220V motor so it all sets up quick on a 110V circuit.
3) It runs perfect!!! Setup was easy and two seconds with one twist of the knob to have it track perfectly.
4) The drive wheels and tools are heavy duty and fantastic. I had no idea a 12" contour wheel would be so big and massive. I knew 12", but when I saw it in person, wow! The tool arm is square stock, very heavy, and solid.
4) Unless you need a tilting belt grinder, there is no reason to buy anything else. This feels like it's built to last a lifetime. I don't know how they can sell all of this at such a reasonable price. This is $3,000 to $4,000 anywhere else, even as a kit.
The Vevor 2x80 Belt Grinder is very highly recommended by me. I don't think anyone would be disappointed. Thanks.

Perfect Entry Level Grinder.
72-82x2 pulgada
As an entry level 2x72 grinder, this can not be beat. It is built well, and works as it should. The only reason it is not getting 5 stars, is sometimes it stalls when doing heavy grinding. If the pressure is too much the machine will shut down.
The only other problem I had, was the weight. Unboxing it and carrying it to my grinder station was a harrowing task. Make sure you have a friend to help you.
If you are looking for a price friendly start this is the machine for you for sure.

It does a good job. It needs dust proof connectors
30x1 pulgada
I bought this from Vevor
It does a good job. I bought a secound one when the first one quit after 2 years of heavy use grinding knives and general shop use.
This is why it quit. It needs dust proof connectors between the motor and controler. Only Vevor has this model with these open connectors. It allows metal dust inside the controler, which shorts it out.
Locate the controler away from the sander. Put controler in a clear plastic bag. Tape or chalk bag around cables. You can remove speed knob with allen wrench. Make a small hole in bag to put shaft through. Reinstall knob.
In Vevors other belt sanders the instructions tell you to protect the controler from metal dust.
Take cover off of cable lead to motor. Seal it with RTV. Reinstall cover. This keeps metal dust out of motor.
All other sellers of this sander use connectors that are dust proof. I don't know why Vevor changed to this type of connector.
Buy the 3 year extended watrentee.
Vevor does NOT sell parts.

Good little sander!
30x1 pulgada
This is a good little belt sander if you’re prepared to do few simple modifications to it. A lot of the screws holding it together are simply just to short. If you replace those with the appropriate length ones you’ll have a reliable machine. I purchased a pack of longer screws and cut them to the required size.
