I purchased this VEVOR utility sink pump because the first one worked well for about a year. Unfortunately, I didn't expect to be replacing it right around the one-year mark, so I highly recommend purchasing the extended warranty. The replacement experience was frustrating. Before installing the new pump, I plugged it in briefly and it powered on, so I assumed everything was fine. After spending the time reinstalling all of the plumbing under my in-law suite basement sink, the pump wouldn't work at all. 🤦🏾‍♂️ I ended up taking everything back apart, bringing the pump outside, and testing it with a garden hose. It worked perfectly. An hour later, I reinstalled it under the sink, crossed my fingers, and this time it worked without any issues. I honestly still have no idea why it failed the first time. This was the exact same model replacing the original, so it should have been a simple swap. Once it's running, the pump performs well and does exactly what it's supposed to do. My biggest complaints are the lifespan of the first unit and the time-consuming troubleshooting during installation. Overall, it's a good pump for the price, but based on my experience, I'd definitely recommend buying the warranty because replacing it can turn what should be a 20-minute job into a several-hour ordeal.

Do not buy these products. Cheaply made and warranty center does not hold up. Took 7 days just to respond to a warranty issue and still won't validate it

This is one of the items we purchased and found out once we had a problem and wanted to return an item because it was not working properly. They wanted pictures or video. How are you supposed to provide that when you are not able to provide pictures or videos until next year when use it for the seasonal use you bought it for. We are no longer shopping here after poor customer service. Getting a refund is just not possible with this company

The item arrived late by a week and cracked. I notified vevor immediately. They offered no replacement, or refund and 25$ for a 250$ product. After over a week of back and forth with them increasing their offer in 25$ increments. It was so disrespectful and did not honour the contract. I finally got my money back after 2 weeks. Disgusting and illegal practices. I will NEVER deal with vevor again regardless of the product.

Pump has been used a total of 16 days. Today it stopped turning itself off, it will run constantly even when empty.
