Another high quality Vevor product! This is the second deep well pump I've purchased, both the same. This worked extremely well in my 50 foot well, it was easy to install and it was 120volts which made it hassle free with the electrical hookup. My well had gone dry with the first pump and I unfortunately fried the first one after six months use. This was totally due to me not having a shut off system in place if I encountered this situation. It would be nice if the pump came with an auto shut down in an overheated situation but that would create a hassle pulling the pump for a reset. I think there is a shut off system I can install should the pump overheat again and draw more amps, I'll be looking into that now so I don't do the same with my new one. Price as you see is a factor, this pump is quality constructed for a third of the price at the hardware store. Yes, I'd buy it again, and I did!

Direct replacement for what i needed. they did not have locally but shipping was fast and showed up as expected. I have this pump installed now for 30 days. seems to be in god quality time will tell but i would recommend for some one to buy this pump if theirs failed.

This pump has been reliable and good value for the money. I use it to pump water from my cistern to my house. Works great so far. It's fraction of the price of brand names and appears to be well made.

This review is for the EVOR Deep Well Submersible Pump, 0.5HP, purchased to keep as a spare - backup. Excellent value for the price. I have purchased and used both the 110V 1HP and 0.5 HP units for an OFF-GRID shallow well (30 foot) application and both have performed properly. In an ideal world, one would prefer to run deep-well pumps from 220V systems but not everyone has that available. One issue I have is the inherent start-up power required for all pumps. My 2,000W, pure sine inverter won’t start the 1 HP unit which works fine from a 3500W inverter. A 2200W (nominal 1800W) generator will run both but again, pushes the start-up power required. Creative individuals may consider adding an adequate “soft-start” controller if your system is tripping breakers on start-up. Considering the smaller, 0.5HP unit produces perhaps two-thirds the output of the larger unit, I would recommend it for those who have a limited power available because of limitations in solar output, battery banks, wiring or smaller inverters. Of course using larger gauge wire (preferably 12 AWG) in your extension cords and minimizing cord distance will help too. Unfortunately, I require a 100 foot extension to my well but with the 12 gauge wire, it is still able to start and run the 1 HP pump from my 3500W inverter. As with all wells, insure it has been developed properly to minimize sand and sediment being drawn into the impellers and it has sufficient water to continuously cover the pump inlet under the flow rate you will be extracting.
