Pump was packaged well, everything works as described on website. Only down side, installation/instruction manual is not helpful, very plain. No customer service number to call or manufacture website to get more info about the pumps features.

Very powerful! Best buy for the price. We use it to pump water from a buried tank to our cottage and it’s very effective.

Only problem i had it was supposed to have a check valve. But it didn't. Water pressure flowed back thru it. I had to buy a check valve and install in top to hold pressure. Check valves are expensive too.

I never received what I had paid for and never got a refund. Do not recommend this company

Instructions not clear on where water level should be. Could not return as they seemed to be more interested in emailing back and forth endlessly. I didn't have time for that. Would have bought a shallow well water pump from them if I had been able to return but will buy elsewhere now.

Pump works surprisingly well, however, the check valve failed after about 12 months. Not the longevity that I was expecting.

Check valve failed after less than 3 months after installation and use. Had to get a plumping company to pull the pump, remove the check valve and place an external check valve on the intake line. Not what you expected from a new pump. We’ll see how well the purchase insurance works.

Please be aware that these 4 inch pumps are 4.03 in which do not fit inside of a 4 inch wheel casing, it's a big problem. In addition if you are ordering one of these Beaver pumps it's probably going to require control box so make sure that you get a setup with a control box in it if you want a 4 inch pump. I was very disappointed to find this out on the back end after I've already ordered and it appears that returning it is not going to be so easy. Good luck in your shopping.
