Bought 2 of these to mount on a block wall back to back. One inside and one outside. Put the generator outside in a large dog house like structure. Made cables to plug into the generator and one box outside. Made another cable to run from the inside box to the breaker box. It all works great. I would buy them again.

Great value RV 50a box. The cover is a well made in-use design with ample room for a plug. Heavy metal construction and very good finish quality. Comes with a variety of entrance plates to accommodate your conduit or wire connector of choice. Even comes with a lock for security.

Well made box will use to hook up portable generator. Hope it will power the whole house............

I have 2 of these. The 1450 connection is not a commercial connection so I would not use it to charge EVs only due to the constant draw at high amps. But the Box is great for the price. its well made and sturdy. I would add a knock out in the back of the unit. I modified mine and made a hole in it but it would be nice to have at least a 1in and 3/4 knock out combo in the rear. other than that the bpx is great. The 1450 plate cannnot accept commercial grade 14-50R receptacles. so I had to modify the plate to maoe the hole larger. So make that 2 things I would add. Even if the price increased by 10 bucks...i would pay it..because then this box would be absolutely perfect.

Generally, pretty good quality and price. The only issue I had was that the KO plates are not US industry standard sizes, so they must be KO punched or use reducing washer on a larger size. Also, the covers screws are small and low quality.

It does the job. Be careful making the electrical connections ensure that they are tight. I had to slightly enlarge one of the included connector adapters, it did not fit the standard size connector. The cover does not have any of the typical ways for holding itself shut except for gravity or a padlock which is inconvenient to access. Have used it carrying 32 amps for many hours and it does not get warm. So from the electrical perspective I guess it's good. Overall, I am okay with it.

These work much better than any other brand we have tried since they have a greater depth for the RV cord "handle. That makes it so that the lid can close all the way even with the RV cord in the receptacle. We do not care for the knockout plates that come with these. Anyone that can install the wiring for one of these should be able to make a knockout. I wish VEVOR would just eliminate all knockout plates and gland plates on their electrical enclosures.

It should work just fine to hook up my travel trailer outside once in a while :)
