Bought this to try out in my garage. Haven't used it long term and likely will need at least one more as I have a big garage that I am insulating in. Packing was good. Instructions not good, assembly was easy. I pretty much leave it on auto and turn it on. Have it set up with the exhaust out the side window and that exhaust pipe is surface of Hell hot so get a heat shield for it. Puts out a fair amount of heat. I changed out the fuel pump as soon as I got it for one that is quieter. The unit fired right up with no issues

Takes a couple minutes to warm up but once it does, it cranks out the heat. App is handy as well. 1 gal of diesel on full blast lasts several hours (maybe 6?). I've run about 5 gallons through it so far. Fuel pump ticking really only occurs during initial warm up period.

This is the second diesel heater from VEVOR that I have purchased. Just add fuel. Pipe off the exhaust. Plug it in and its heating. This one heats my 30x30 15' ceiling insulated barn with ease. Its 20 degrees outside right now and my barn is a very comfortable 65. The space is larger than they say it will handle. It took around 3 hours to reach that temperature point on highest setting (10). I can maintain the temp on setting 5. Uses about 1.5 gallons in a 24 hour period. I will in the near future disconnect the fuel tank and add a 5 gal fuel tank using a stand pipe. I did that with my first heater (in a different building) and it works fantastic. That way you do not have to add fuel to the tank. Just switch out fuel tanks when needed. Highly Recommend this heater and VEVOR is great to deal with.
