MA*** Good Soup Warmer After a Few Initial Issues

The soup pot works good but every once in a while it won't start. If we leave it sit for an hour or two, it works again. You can only put so much water in between the pot and the warmer or the soup bowl floats unless it is full of soup. Waiting to see if it shuts down completely on us or if it continues to cause issues. We have only had it a few weeks. Buy the extended warranty just in case n this item. We did....
UPDATE: We did experience some initial issues during the first week with the unit not staying on consistently. This was frustrating at first, especially when relying on it for daily restaurant service. However, the issue seemed to resolve itself, and the warmer has been operating reliably ever since.
It has now been in daily use without further problems and does a great job of keeping our soups at serving temperature. The 10-quart capacity is practical for our needs, and the removable stainless steel insert makes cleaning and refilling straightforward.
The adjustable temperature control is convenient, and the unit is compact enough to fit nicely into our serving area without taking up too much valuable counter space.
Overall, we're happy with the purchase. I deducted one star because of the initial reliability issues, but since that first week, it has performed very well. Good value for the money, and we would recommend it for restaurant or concession use.
