I use this for degassing resin for dice making and other projects. It works very well. Some other users mentioned sealing problems. This is easy to fix. Keep the rubber seal clean and lightly press down on it after starting the pump. The vacuum gauge should start climbing immediately. Holds vacuum well. You can shut off the pump and close the valves and it will maintain without loss. Recommend doing to save wear on the pump. Also always monitor pump oil levels and it will last a long time.

The 5 gal. vac chamber and pump arrived in very good condition as it was very well packed. Very impressed with the quality of both the chamber and the vac pump. Initially had trouble pulling a vacuum on the chamber but decided it was due to the lid not sealing tight which was remedied by clamping the lid down. Have not had any problems pulling a vacuum since. In the description, It should be emphasized that a tempered glass lid is required if stabilizing wood as a plastic lid will deteriorate over time due to the fumes coming off the solution. Also, it would be nice if VEVOR would offer vacuum oil and an oil collection filter for the pump exhaust in their extensive list of products.

I bought this vacuum chamber for my wife, she's been doing a lot of epoxy and it had a lot of bubbles in it so I invested in this vacuum chamber. It works very well. Mix it up put it in, turn it on and let it sit there for about 10 minutes after it gets to full vacuum. The lid is nice and sturdy, The pot is nice and sturdy.. It really is a nice setup and for the price point you can't beat it

This worked great out of the box. Actually really good quality and good quality fittings the pump is good. I have had it hold vacume for 5 days without loosing any.

Heavy pot and lid with thick silicon seals, easy to assemble. Clear instructions. Ive stabilized wood and make denim micarta so far. Couldn't be more pleased.

I have been pleased with my VEVOR vacuum kit. The pump reaches full negative pressure in the 5-gallon chamber quickly, and the stout glass lid and silicone seals perform well. I will eventually use my kit for epoxy degassing, vacuum chucking on my CNC, and with the addition of a few components, needle-vacuuming the microphone ports on my hearing aids!
