This is a fine unit so far. I have had it for only a few weeks. it was easy to install on my wall. My only concern is that I wish they included a quick release pin in place of the cotter pin for keeping the swivel pin in place. This would make it easier to remove for winter storage. There are two small rubber O-rings that I have no idea where they go.

Although you need to feed the hose back as slowly as possible , it is impossible to keep the speed down. The spring is HIGHLY WOUND so if you don’t want rub burns on your hand the hose reel will win every time. It jumps up and down sounding like it will break as it retracts . In fact the black plastic rim where the hose goes in pops out every time. Buyer beware My 4 stars is generous mainly for price

A little hard to pull the hose out but the retractable feature is great! Very well made. I do all the pulling first and then drag it to my chicken run. Then retract. Works great!

Have had the water hose reel for about 3 months now , seems to be good quality and easy to install.

Like the concept but the hose could be made of a better material.

Like the hose lock. Easy storage. But lacks pressure from standard 5/8 hose...but not so bad that it makes it difficult to get watering done...gardening or washing cars, still good

This product was easy to install. Works good. My problem is that right after I purchased the product the priceogot lowered.

Nice product

I bought this so my wife could water her grow boxes without have to untangle the garden hose and drag to over to her grow boxes and the coil it backup only to have to do it again the next day. we use 4, 250 gallon water totes plumbed together to collect rain water and an electric pump, I mounted the hose reel next to the switch that turns on the pump so now all that she has to do is to turn on the pump and pull the hose over to the to the farthest grow box and start watering and once she is done just give a pull on the hose and let it recoil and flip off the power switch to the pump and Bada Bing Bada Boom and she is done with the watering, she love it very much, Happy WIFE Happy LIFE!!! It was very easy to install and yes we would buy it again. NOTE: I you live in an area that freezes in the winter you will NEED to drain the hose of ALL OF THE WATER or it could freeze and damage the it.

The overal opinion is good. the material used if very nice. My problem with the quality is the inability of the hose guide to both correctly guide the hose for retraction and the retrace that retraction for payout. All too often the hose has reeled up to one side and for some reason, the pull out has the guide either too far to the opposite side or all the way to the opposite of the hose coil This problem can only be resolved by manully uncoiling the hose to line up with the guide.
