I bought three of these to replace old steering cylinders on my two boats. So far I have no complaints. The steering is much smoother on both boats since swapping out the old SeaStars for these. I can now steer the boats with one finger. Hopefully, they can withstand the Gulf of America salt water for a good long time.

Lenkung funktioniert hervorragend, mindestens ein Drittel günstiger, wenn ich sogar die Hälfte als namhafte andere Hersteller haben ein 225 PS, Optimax von Mercury damit verbunden funktioniert. Hervorragend Alle Schrauben passen. Alle Gewinde sind absolut gängig und einwandfrei hergestellt. Keine Undichtigkeiten im Öl Kreislauf. Perfekt würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen und fürs nächste Boot werde ich sie auf jeden Fall auch wieder kaufen.

The hydraulic steering system is a great upgrade from rack and cable steering with no engine feedback. However this is the problem. There are numerous hydraulic steering helm pump capacities ranging from 1.1 cubic inches to 3.0 cubic inches. The higher the pump volume the lower the number of steering wheel turns lock-to-lock. This particular helm provided 7 turns lock-to-lock, which was almost double number of turns of the Teleflex rack and steering cable that was removed, which is not good for my high performance boat setup. I would advise to get 100% confirmation on the steering helm volume from VEVOR before you buy to see if it will work for your boating application. There are charts online that provide the number of turns lock-to-lock based on the helm volume. Otherwise it is a great steering system.
