I bought this product about three months ago but had to return it since it wasn't cutting properly. Vevor was good about getting it returned and I got a replacement cutter about a month ago. The product is easy to use but doesn't cut the full 12" of the blade. It is a bit stiff with 18g sheet copper but is just fine with 20g copper and thinner. I found the guard to be cumbersome to attach and needed a second person to help with that. It would help if the product had measurements for inches that went in both directions (up and across) the cutter platform. I had to add my own adhesive rulers going across the end closest to me and along the left length of the platform The product seems to be well made and sturdy, so I hope it fills my needs for years to come. Fortunately I don't have to cut longer pieces that about 8 or 9 inches, so it works for the moment. I bought it to cut sheet metal into smaller strips for metal jewelry. It helps to cut the metal quickly rather than sawing or snipping the long strips I use. If I were to get another cutter, I would get one that is more adaptable to my needs, but it would be much more expensive. This one does the job for the price I paid.

Little disappointed with this sheet metal shear. It doesn't like to lock up on the metal very well, but for $30 bucks you can't expect much for a shear. Unless your using it for really thin sheet metal I wouldn't recommend it.

I've been waiting two weeks for an answer to my issue but just keep getting the runaround. I've used guillotine shears for years and have never had an issue like this. So ist diese Schere nicht brauchbar und auch den reduzierten Preis nicht wert! Laut Beschreibung soll sie bei Lieferung optimal eingestellt sein. Das sah dann so aus, dass das Schneidrad so verkantet und verspannt eingebaut war, dass sich das Schneidrad gar nicht drehen konnte. Das sollte doch jedem Mitarbeiter des Herstellers auf den ersten Blick auffallen. Gibt es eine Qualitätssicherung beim Hersteller?
