I used it to drive down metal posts around a garden patch that had stone mixed soil (unknown if from home building 2 years ago or preexisting naturally). But I couldn’t drive beyond 4/6” down with lighter tools available to me, a DYI enthusiast. This driver was priced better than all others, I compared, and worked like a charm. All my 7 posts were in 12” deep in probaly less than 20 minutes.

Beefy, nice wide handles, way better value than anything else out there. My only complaint: they should not have painted the impact surface (inside of tube) because you end up with tiny orange-red paint flakes all over the perimeter of your work area.

Very useful tool. The red paint will come off from the inside of the pipe, may stain the part being pounded.

Does what it needs to do. The barrel should be longer like the smaller diameter drivers.

Good pounder, didn't fit over a 4 inch steel post that has the street sign profile with the screws holes on the sides. The 4 inch part of the post is offset so the widest part isn't directly in the middle so it scrapped and got stuck on the post.

The dimensions are not as described. Customer service is extremely complicated with the return.

It’s a post driver. Nothing special about it. The paint flakes off a little but it puts posts in the ground
