We’ve used this hydraulic power unit on several custom hydraulic step and rear steering setups at McNasty Offroad, and it’s been a great little unit for what we ask it to do. Compact enough to package neatly on a mega truck, straightforward to plumb and wire, and it operates the steps/rear steer smoothly in both directions. These aren’t exactly lightweight applications either. We build our step systems for trucks where the door sill is practically in another zip code and the axles are 2.5 or 5 ton military style., so dependable operation matters. 😂 So far, we’ve been very happy with the performance and have continued using these units on multiple builds. The photos and video are from a few of the McNasty Offroad trucks we’ve installed them on. Definitely recommend for anyone putting together a custom hydraulic setup.

Works great on a front end loader that I built for my lawn mower and rear sleeve hitch

Worked perfect for a bed mounted hay bale lift. This unit replaced the engine mounted hydraulic pump. worked perfect for both the lift and the squeeze functions.

Works great so far. No complainrs. Am using it for the dump feature on a large cement mixer. Does the job.

We don't even bother shopping around, when a project comes into our shop needing rear-steer or our custom steps, the first thing we order is this pump. When it's both steps & rear-steer, we grab the 6-way pump, for one or the other only, we grab a 4-way. The pump is not only powerful, it's intuitive and simple to plumb & wire. We mount it to an aluminum plate, so that we can plumb/wire on a table, then set the assembly into our containment boxes. Pics of our assembly and a bonus pic to show one of the projects it is installed in that required this 6-way for both rear-steering & remote controlled steps.

It looks and functions like one twice the price

Great product for the price. Works exactly as advertised. Simple operation.

I've used several different 12v hydraulic pumps most work good for a few months, this one I've had for a month and use it almost daily for plowing snow. No issues so far.
