Worked great for wiring in a harness for my radio install soldered the adapter to the plug on radio! When you power it on instantly gets hot and the adjustable temperature is top notch

I was very impressed with the quality of this soldering iron. Especially considering the price. Even comes with multiple different tips for the iron itself.

I personally don’t solder often, but I do often at my job where I tested this versus our Hakko. I can attest that wire to wire and through hole soldering is great with this iron. While I’m setting it to 700+, I don’t have any means to know whether it’s there exactly, but it’s heating up just fine with my solder. Some of the extras included don’t mean much to me, like the lead-free solder, but it’s a nice overall package. If you casually need an iron for the garage, this works great.
