Poorly designed kick-back brake defective

I had trouble to begin with in getting the chain/bar to install. I finally realized the brake was on reducing the diameter of the band that grabs the clutch. I had to apply a large amount of force to release the brake, which expaned the brake. After starting for the first time the brake was on and no matter how hard i tried the brake would not release.

Je l'ai acheté il y a deux mois. Elle coupe plutôt bien bonne accroche et bonne puissance. MAIS très capricieuse difficile à démarrer et une fois calée à chaud : c'est fini. Elle ne veut plus rien savoir. Pour les réglages : les trous ne sont pas alignés avec les vis de réglage. Elle est neuve pas trop cher mais qu'est-ce que j'ai acheté ?

Never received it ..... shipping all of a sudden couldn't deliver to business...... never had issues before but now I had to fight to get refunds on the chain saw and a wood stove that they never delivered...had to buy on eBay I instead both items

Leaks gas and oil.

Saw starts right away and seems to have good power. I advise not to buy though. It leaks gas from around the gas fill cap no matter how tight you close it. I contacted customer service and they sent new caps for the gas and oil tanks. That didn't solve the problem. Still leaks so I have to store the saw on its side but if I'm hauling it where it jostles around it still leaks so I can't transport it in an enclosed area. I also discovered it leaks oil out of the chain oil port. It's a shame because I think I would love this light powerful little machine.
