Received the hoist and it was damaged, contact vevor and have got absolutely no where in regards to returning it ,just a big run around, , it’s been over a week now and have got no where in regards
This company has zero customer service or support, I would highly recommend not dealing with them as it is apparent that if there is a issue they will not help you

The actual hoist is as expected. But the wire rope is super cheesy. It is a very fine stranding which seems to cause it to get tangled on the spool (even with constant tension). It tangles to the point that when lowering it, it starts raising again since the layers of rope get messed up on the spool. I tried to replace the cable with a much better one, but the unit is set up so replacement is not possible, or certainly not easy.

Arrived damaged but no shipping box damage. Electrical enclosure was all busted. Contacted customer service and they sent me a new enclosure (2 weeks later). Enclosure replacement required cutting and resplicing wires. After this was fixed, I noticed the bolts and washers for mounting brackets were not in the box. Contacted customer service again and they refunded me $11 to buy the bolts and washers. Drove 25 miles round trip with $4 a gallon gas to get hardware and they cost me $11.40.
Not a good experience. Hoist now seems to work fine.

The first thing you want to do when opening this up is find the end of the lifting cable where it loops around the hook and is crimped. I stabbed my finger twice grabbing at the hook end. You'll need to put tape or something around the sharp strands of the lifting wire. Seems like something that should be taken care of at the factory. Its also slightly hidden by the red disc, so dont grab without gloves. The lift itself seems fine and is working.
