Org Farmer Not quite what I thought I was buying
Mostly well-made - all hardware was nicely machined and fit well. This earned it a B+. Two areas of concern: 1) The product description said, "With 3-gear adjustable slots, most bikes can easily fit in the rack. Perfect for road bikes, mountain bikes, adult bikes, kid bikes, and small scooters. " From this description, I expected, incorrectly, that there was some gear actuated adjustment to accommodate the width of the tires on these different bikes. Not so. you can manually adjust the small crossbars on the floor to accept a range of DIAMETERS of tires, but the width is fixed. 2) The basket is poorly-made. They must not have used a jig to construct it, because the poor alignment on the top horizontal wire leaves sharp wire edges exposed. I will cover with a sturdy tape to keep folks from cutting themselves when filling the basket. We'll see over time how well the rack's fasteners hold up to regular rough use. It may benefit from lock washers over time.
