I've been using this wheel for a while now, and overall I think it's a great machine with one major flaw. First, the wheel itself is excellent. It has noticeably better power and speed than the Shimpo VL Lite I use regularly at my community studio. It handles centering and larger amounts of clay with ease, runs smoothly, and generally feels like a more capable and robust wheel. From a performance standpoint, I'm very impressed. My only ergonomic complaint is the height. The wheel could definitely benefit from being slightly taller, or at least having longer extension legs available. The current height isn't unbearable, but it does become uncomfortable during longer throwing sessions and feels a bit lower than ideal. Unfortunately, the biggest issue—and the one that makes the wheel genuinely frustrating to use—is the splash pan design. The splash pan is simply too small and sits too close to the wheel head for the size of the wheel. There's very little clearance between the wheel and the edge of the pan. If you drop a tool or need to reach into the pan while working, it's surprisingly difficult to even fit your hand between the wheel and the splash pan. Even worse, the splash pan leaks badly. And I don't mean the occasional drip—the pan actively pours water out. I've made sure it's installed correctly, fitting snugly beneath the wheel with both halves properly locked together, but it still leaks extensively. The seams are poorly formed, misaligned, and don't seal properly. The result is water constantly escaping onto the floor, creating a mess and making cleanup far more difficult than it should be. It's especially disappointing because the wheel itself is so good. The motor, speed control, and overall performance are excellent, but the poorly designed and poorly manufactured splash pan significantly detracts from the user experience. Overall: The wheel earns high marks for performance and power, easily outperforming the Shimpo VL Lite I've used elsewhere. However, the low working height and especially the undersized, severely leaking splash pan keep it from being a truly outstanding product. If the splash pan design and quality control were improved, this would be an easy five-star wheel. As it stands, I'd still recommend it for the wheel itself, but be prepared for ongoing frustration with the splash pan.

90 quid!!!!! This has got to be a joke. Buy it! If you’re a production potter you won’t be reading this: us hobbyists will love this! I took it out of the box and threw a quick beaker. It’s not as smooth as my Shinto but it’s 90 quid!!! Haha Gold

Loved this wheel the shipping process was wonderful. It shipped the same day and was expected to come 3-4 business days later. It indeed did come 3-4 days later in perfect condition. Plus it came with a pottery tool kit as well.

I've only been using this wheel for a month but I'm absolutely blown away. It's so good. I throw on a Brent wheel at my studio and honestly the only difference I notice is that the Brent is easier to spin very slowly with a heavy foot. The vevor wheel has a very lightweight pedal so it just takes a bit more finesse.

Llevo un mes usando este torno y sinceramente estoy encantada con él. Soy principiante y es muy importante poder tener acceso a un torno de manera diaria para practicar tanto como pueda. Una cosa negativa sería el pedal que es de plástico y muy sensible al tacto cosa que lo hace dificil de controlar, pero tiene una pantalla táctil que puedes ajustar para que vaya a la velocidad que quieras y cambiar la dirección del torno. Nada que envidiar a los más caros. RECOMIENDO 100%

Incredible

First impression was I liked the color, its sizable and has good weight, didn't feel like a toy. Just plug in and create. I've only thrown lighter things so far but works great. The power is there, the control has been good. Like the tool storage bin. I couldn't ask for better at this price. Fantastic for beginners for sure and that's me. I never thought I could own my own wheel due to the high cost. Thanks Vevor, you opened up a door that's been closed to artistic souls who cannot pay exuberant prices.

New model with transparent basin, 28/34cm. Pottery wheel works as it should and this new basin model is watertight. Foot pedal wasnt working but Vevor replacd it with a new without any fuss. The wheel is sufficient for 2,5 kg clay, possible more, I havent tried. Stands well on a table and doesnt slip. Not same quality as a wheel for 10*money but I think it is vety good for 1/10 of the price of a premium wheel. I have another earlier model and that basin leaks a lot. This new transparent basin model is water tight (and it is also possible to use on my earlier 450W/14inch Vevor wheel). I’m glad I bought this as my second wheel, very usable and no leaks, very helpful customer support to.
