It went together really well and worked ... quite well except, in my humble opinion, the cooling unit is just too small. I created my own, much larger cooling coil system and everything went fantastic

Price point on this product is excellent. The thumper is quite small and needs to be on the top. It can be easily replaced for a boiler the size you need at least a 1.5 thumper. Also, the thumper does not have a drop tube so you could use this as a slobber Only you do not put water inside the hamper. Be careful to watch for pressure bumps when using it as a slobber and there will be a delay from when your temperature reaches your boil point to when it exits your coil. The tubing is quite flimsy. there is an assault at lack of information as there is with all the products on how to use this one best bet is do your research first.

Condenser is to small but still works 💪. Goes through a lot of cold water and ice🧊. Otherwise it works very well.

Perfect beginner still. Easy to set up and use and with a little research it’s easy to get a good product out of it. Cooler does need to be bigger for the 8L pot as it get very hot just keep lots of cold water through the pump that is supplied. It works very good as well. Overall. Great purchase and a great price. Shipping was super fast as well with no issues at all.

It'd be nice if more of the parts were copper, and the pump / water flow can be tricky to manage. But you can't beat the price

Not that expensive for all stainless steel. I needed a large distiller for essential oils and this is the thing. I would recommend this item anytime. Very good price, excellent quality for my purpose. Thanks

The condenser pan leaked at the still outlet. Took a while to adjust and silicone it to stop the leak. Other than that, everything Else was very well designed and thought out/planned.

It is an excellent way to learn about distillation. It has been a fascinating way to explore the hobby and gather information on the process. I don't think there is a better way to get started than this set up. You're not going to be James Beam but you will enjoy where the journey takes you. I am glad I purchased this unit and I can recommend it to anyone who is interested in distillation. For the money this item cannot be beat. Get one for yourself, I highly recommend it.
