I made this purchase because the price point was affordable!!! I am absolutely satisfied and more than happy with this product. The quality of the pot is actually way better than you would expect for an affordable item. It’s actually nice and thick instead of old cheap thin metal. If you want to learn distilling or just want to distill on a small home level then this is the item for you!!!

I got this still just for the thumper and I have to say I swapped all the parts on my 50L with these ones.

I did my first run today and it worked well. I did a Rum. It was easy to assemble and tu use. Its a good buy.

Very well constructed for the cost. I am not using the Thumper but have added a nylon male to male 1 inch coupler to attach the 2 copper lines together into 1 single line so my condenser is away from heat source. Also, the manual is incorrect in the placement of the condencer lines. The line from the pump needs to be on the TOP valve with return line on BOTTOM. This will allow a vastly faster exchange rate of cold water in the condencer with both valves fully open and yes the pump can easily keep up. I also have my condencer sitting on a heavy wire grate over a clean 20 gallon garbage can with pump set wide open . There is a small amount of water that overflows the sides of the condencer that simply flows back down into the garbage can for the absolute maximum in cooling. If there is even the slightest amount of steam exiting the condencer your cooling water is TOO hot. Have a thermometer in the cooling water and keep it below 10C or 50F this is a must do. It would be nice if Vevor would develop a 3 gallon condencer as an upgrade for each of these stills and add a copper coupler for those of us that won't use the thumper. HINT HINT !
