Good value and easy to lay

I was surprised with the quality of these given the price point. They weren’t perfectly square, but nothing that wasn’t an easy work around. The edges haven’t curled or frayed, and the imperfections flattened out within a couple days. They were a perfect budget item for our cabin.

I am still in the prep work so I haven’t placed these carpet tiles yet. Two stars were removed for falsely listing and describing these at 6mm thick. They are not, in fact, they are 3.5 mm thick after measuring many of them. At 3.5 mm I cannot imagine that they will last very long. I have considered returning them but my bedroom is down to the subfloor and weather has suddenly dropped into cold Autumn nights. I really wanted to love these tiles, but they are disappointing at how thin they actually are. With a crawl space underneath my house hopefully they will provide some warmth to get me through the winter. I will write this off as a learning experience and purchase tiles that I can hold and see the real thickness in the near future. Online shopping is no longer enjoyable and has become too frustratingly often that items received do not match the description, especially carpet padding is always wrong. These tiles will be my last large purchase online. I’m over it and done! Follow up 10-03-2026: Customer service reached out to me after writing that review. They were informed that these tiles are very thin, no padding at all for warmth or noise reduction as every step is audible, and the response I received was “May not be suitable for your intended use” basically wanting lots of photos and videos so they can begin the return process. They even insinuated that I wasn’t measuring the naps and that different colors may be different thickness, blah blah. I can measure accurately unlike my ex husband. So I didn’t appreciate that when they can see my 2 pics attached to the original review. Anyway, I never intended to return as I previously wrote but they kept emailing. Finally I just ignored them because they were really annoying like I am an idiot unhappy women. They can go to H*** as far as I am concerned, because I don’t have time for it. But I was definitely making time for my fellow consumers who may consider the cheaper option, like I did here and performing the labor yourself. With that said the one pro is that they are easy to lay down but that’s it. The rest is falsely advertised. My recommendation is not to place over bare subfloor like I did because I even hear my dog’s steps as if there is nothing over it and feet do get cold. Thank you for reading
