Used to bore holes for a replacement fence. Had pulled old posts and concrete out and needed to clean up holes. Worked well and didn't need a second person to work it or lift it. Auger extensions got me to depth needed, just watch backing it out of hole as extensions cause the auger to rotate pretty wildly if you don't slow rotation speed down. You get the hang of it quickly. Easy to assemble, easy to start,a good tool for the $

Works awesome, starts 1st pull. Used for 20 4x4 posts 3’ deep and then used to dig Dozen holes for large plants . Would highly recommend and would buy again.

Looks like a great product. Hopefully it will save a good amount of time! It arrived 3 days after I ordered. I love that it was shipped almost immediately.

this is my first ever experience with an auger, I thought first that it would be difficult to use, it was not, mixing the fuel was straight forward, starting the auger also, I used it to dig some pole holes, then, I decided to try and use it on some thick dead bush roots, it just tore it apart, I was able to pull it out completely, the price is another extra to this great tool.

I’m happy with the performance of the gas powered auger, but the clutch failed after 2 weeks of using it daily. I dug roughly 50 holes with the 10in auger to a depth of 3ft in various type of soil (clay, sand, dirt). Vevor is sending me a new clutch free of charge so I still give it a fairly high rating even though it failed.

Powerful machine. Use it to help me dig a 4 feet wide 7feet deep (at the lowest point) well for my downspout and it chewed the ground like butter. The only downside it that the exaust shoots the fume straight at you face when you have to stand over the machine, that could be better. The throttle is also a bit flimsy but it works.

Pay $160 to rent or $113 to own. I’m paying $113 to own. Auger works very well. I only have two complaints. The fill/drain hole for gear casing cannot be accessed without cutting some of the provided Allen key off. Even with my expensive tools it’s not possible. My other gripe is with the carb. It won’t idle in “run”. I can only have it 3/4 of the way open. I cannot for the life of me figure out what tool to use to turn it. Basic carb adjustment driver kits do not have what this needs. Will probably throw an aftermarket carb on it down the road. For now it dug 25 holes in 3 hours in the hardest of red clay soil mostly comfortably.

Works well, somewhat easy to start but be careful when it hits a hard object. It will literally turn you and your shoulders with it possibly damanging them. Other than that its ok.

Starts easy. Easy assembly. Well engineered. Used it to make holes for planting. We have clay soils. Power could be a bit better, especially when encountering roots. It drilled some holes easily and struggled a bit with thicker dense dirt. I wish it had a reverse function. Also additional 10" and 12 " bits should come as standard with a slight extra cost. The engage switch is decent but could be located and designed more ergonomically. Noise reduction if possible. A stabilizing tripod could improve safety.

Started out a bit rough. Augger arrived missing a couple bits & pieces. Contacted Vover & the missing items were delivered in a couple of days. Very pleased with Vevors customer service & so far I am happy with the quality and value of this augger.
