Had alot of trouble starting. Finally started with closed choke.

Digs holes like it should. It does not like tree roots and it does not like rocks bigger than an egg. Hang on. Had an issue with it flooding out on 2 occasions. It needed a little shot of starting fluid to snap out of it. Otherwise it fires right up and I put down over 100 fence posts on 2 tanks of fuel.

I used this tool to dig holes for fence poles. It performed very well without missing a beat. Plan to use it more in the future for planting trees.

It does exactly what its supposed too. Its not something you will be able to pass down to your children but I've used it for over 75 post holes as of now and its still working

Plastic around motor was broken when I got it. Doesn’t affect the motor. It does okay takes two to hold it right if you hit a rock might as well take it out of the hole and dig the rock out before continuing because it will not dig even with the smallest rock in the hole it will bind up. Starts up easy enough. Smokes like crazy but it’s cheap and gets the job done and beats the heck out of post hole diggers and a shovel

Works as it should. Maybe a little under powered, but that will help when you hit a root or rock.

Worked fantastic compared to the old way!

I bought this post hole digger for fence posts. I there were 50 posts in Georgia clay (cement). It did a great job and the price was right. The only issue was getting it to start sometimes. Would have to pull the handle 10x to get it to start. It is well made and only had to put the handles and auger on. I used the premixed fuel from Home Depot. It only used one and a half cans. Home Depot wanted $100 per day to rent one. Because I knew I could not do these all in one day, it was well worth the money. Turned around and resold after use. Shipping was fast and I was kept informed where it was at on its journey.

Excellent for use around the house. It is not a commercial type machine but we have a property that requires upkeep and maintenance and the auger is excellent for us. A rental would have been more than half the cost of the machine so well worth it. Also very easy to store.
