Bought this as a present for my wife who loves to make resin art. The 1.5 gallon size easily holds pint size cups of resin without being so large as to be awkward. The quality of the materials is excellent. The seals appear sturdy. The pump works well and the degassing is complete within about 5 minutes. One thing to note: the pump oil chamber was not full upon arrival and needed about a 1/2 cup to fill. So I was glad that I ordered a quart of vacuum oil at the same time.

`Just received the pump, assembled it in one minute by hand (no tools or lube, so probably not a perfect seal), read the warnings, and turned it on. The pump is very quiet, beyond what I expected. It pulled the 3gallon chamber to -0.95 bar in about 30-40 seconds, enough to destroy a small balloon I accidentally left in the chamber. :) The pump produces some vapor (it isn't really smoke I think) past -0.5 bar, but from what I read this is normal behavior. It holds the vacuum impressively well. Remarks: 1. The oil in the pump was at min-level, so I had to add most of the extra bottle to get it to almost max. 2. The pressure gauge wasn't entirely filled with glycerin (not sure whether that is a quality issue, but still). 3. There are no 'convenient' handles on my 3gallon chamber, it's just a pot.

Ich habe die Vakuumpumpe zum Holz stabilisieren gekauft das funktioniert wunderbar. Leider hat der Plexiglasdeckel nach der zweiten Anwendung schon Risse bekommen .:-(

Erfüllt seinen Zweck. Allerdings hätte ich die Pumpe mit etwas mehr Leistung nehmen sollen.

Setup was fairly easy, it was just not entirely clear where to pour in the oil, as there were two openings at the top. In the end I poured it in the bigger one, which seemed to do the trick. The pump releases quite some white steam when turning on, which seems to not be an issue, but it does fill up the room with smell. The vacuum performance itself is excellent though. The pump draws a deep vacuum, and with the closed lid the pressure is held for several hours. Great setup for silicone mixing and casting!

De vacuümpomp en vacuümkamer worden gebruikt tbv het luchtvrij maken van epoxy. Bij het mengen van de epoxy-componenten A en B krijg je altijd te maken met luchtinslag; deze luchtbellen zijn mbv de vacuümpomp en vacuümkamer goed te verwijderen. Bij het gieten van de epoxy krijg je vervolgens volledig heldere epoxy plaatjes.

Werkt prima denk ik , ik krijg alleen niet de gewenste resultaat .

Nice little product just a little finicky to get a proper seal around the lid. Works fine.
