This unit is great to install my Saville heat pump. The only issue I have is that the unit should have a valve behind the guage so I can hold the heat pump lines on vaccum and watch the guage for 10min. In this case I just used the pump to hold the vaccum for a full 30 minutes then shut all the lines, then opened the high pressure line and charged the unit. It works perfectly. I did require a cross over between the vaccum pump and the heat pump, small item easily available at any hydraulic hose place.

Easy to use. Worked well. Used it for installing a heat pump. Was able to to install the heat pump without any issue.

Using my pump I was able to install a heat pump by making a perfect vacuum in the lines and making sure there were no leaks. The cost of the pump was lower than getting an A/C technician to come and make a service call to do the job for me. As an added bonus, I can install another on if I need to or lend it out to friends for them to do the same.
