This 8 inch cab works like a dream. I have not used the saw yet. There is no instructions on how to mount the saw. I have looked at videos on how to mount the saw tho.

Great product, works very well. Highly recommend. Poor instructions & abysmal customer service, frustrating. But great machine.

Great machine for the money. Cost effective

Had some problems initially, but the customer service is great and helped fix the problem

Got about two weeks ago the right side shield was warped and on the left side the blade was bent

This machine was great at first. Although the motor housing gets very hot, it worked as described. But now after the first week or two, I have to tighten the wheels down EVERY time before using. Now they will not tighten at all. And that is impossible to do because each side of the arbor tightens in the same direction and there's no way to lock the arbor! Horrible design flaw. The wheels make a terrifying noise upon turning on the machine as well, because for some reason (even though all arbor nuts are completely secure) the wheels all get up to speed at different speeds, which seems dangerous. The design flaws are insane. The machine vibrates like crazy as well, so if you're patient it is possible to work. But it is very frustrating. I will need a new box, as I had to dispose of the other since I have no place to store it. I'd supply a video of the noise but honestly I am afraid to use the machine now, I don't think it is safe. Right now I am attempting to remove all the wheels to inspect the arbor, but the 3rd wheel will NOT come off. I just need my money back.

Had to modify a little so the wheels could be put in the correct sequence. Didn't drain the best when we got it but upgraded the parts and it works better. Overall with the modifications it works great and my husband loves it.

I have used a cabking 6” and have had that in service since 2018. I needed a second unit for lapidary classes I teach. I was going back and forth between another cabking, splurging for kingsley north (or saving $500 by going with this unit. Ordering and shipping was easy. It arrived quickly. Unpacking and setting it up was not a big deal because I’m versed in these machines. I noticed right away that the edges of the unit did not have a drip plate. Instead it is raw rough sharp edged metal covered crudely and haphazardly with a plastic edge guard that is not even straight. Right away noticed the wheels were out of order on the arbor. Which is just puzzling … yes you have to tighten the arbor anyway but this could be super confusing for beginners … also the unit inexplicably came with a cutting wheel attachment … I think? I say this because I don’t think it’s safe to use and would never use it… been there done that with my cab king, in my opinion it’s a waste of arbor space and it’s better to use a lapidary saw. But yeah this came with some sort of welded stainless steel alloy box that doesn’t have any way to seat on the machine. Sharp edges all around. Pass. Would use the saw blade if the arbor was of standard size but it’s not…. Not even sure if it’s stainless because it is rusted and bent. Bizarre. Hate how the brand name is front and center with the second line mentioning the discount price. Tacky. It’s obvious it’s off brand already because it’s just wonky. The water adjustments don’t work well. Hard to shut all the way off. Touchy. Resin wheels are ok. Diamond wheel looks iffy like it was sprayed on in a weird pattern. Gooseneck light is shorter than cab king. Oh, and it doesn’t work. Lol! There is no flat lap at the end. Would rather have that than a goofy saw attachment. The shaft length itself is a lot shorter than other legitimate units. So wheels are super close together. Long story short, mistakes were made. Even at this price point most people would consider this piece of equipment an investment. Spend the extra money and buy a cabking. I wish I did. I’ve ordered vevor before and have always been pleased, but yeah big time regrets but it’s my fault because you can’t expect quality for that price…
