Sylvain Heavy-duty but too stiff in cold weather

1 inch outside diameter, strong and heavy with a nice handle on plug, flexible at room temperature but I live in a region where it gets below freezing most of the winter season and at those temperature the power cord gets stiff and is more like a spring than a cord creating a lot of fighting and will stay with big waves shortening the length. My suggestion is to either buy longer to compensate for the lost of length, or a hair dryer to get it flexible or lay it where you are going to use it when the temperature is warm.
An other point is the orange cable carrier is useless, made of very flexible material, it is not designed for that much weight, it stretches too much and doesn't stay locked, you can use it for a normal 120 volt power cord as it was intended.
Shipping was fast and free. I would buy again.
