Bought this a t the beginning of the summer my RV gas water heater plug broke in the socket and couldn't find a replacement as the company does not exist anymore, it was easy to install, works great, can have a long shower and by the time you dry up, the water is hot and ready for another one, and the thermostat is not even at the max, as for winterizing it I use a siphon, which I tested before installing it, and it leaves about 3/4 of a gallon of water in it, I think it should be ok as it leaves room for the ice to expand, will see next spring, but again great heater
