After have a near miss possible tragic fire happen I am hoping to have this unit replaced with a safer model. The fuel line is literally an inch away from the blazing hot exhaust pipe. I even attempted to help with the heat coming off it and wrapped it with heat resistant manifold tape. The plastic fuel tube still melted a tiny hole cause diseal fuel to drip. Lucky i was close by and caught it soon as the smoke and smell started. Can I exchange this unit for a safe unit. How this even passed into public production is beyond me.

Worked well for about a month and now it keeps shutting off code #05 and now all they are doing is creating tickets and nothing's getting resolved.

Got one week of use out of this unit after which the unit started leaking fuel out the intake. I changed the fuel supply hose as some suggested here to no avail. Quite dissatisfied

Set up was somewhat easy, but the exhaust comes out the bottom. So it has to be set up on legs before it can be ran. The instructions are very confusing. Really doesn't make any sense. Our heater had split fuel lines, so it leaked right from the start. We tried to return it, for a new one. Even exchange. But they refused. Told us we needed to fix it ourselves. They told us what to do. Remember this is a brand new machine. It should work, or be replaced. I should not have to fix a new machine. Still waiting on parts to complete fixing. Good luck.

Mine don’t work tryed call to get hell but that is not an easy thing to get wast of money. Half the equipment was missing but they don’t care they got there money already

The heater puts out a lot of heat and uses little fuel however, this model is top heavy, prone to tip and fuel leaks when it is tipped, so basically creates a fire hazard. The exhaust pipe on the bottom burn whatever it touches (another fire hazard) finally, the heater after only two uses, now is giving me.an error code. It is failing to ignite but not before it exhausts a LOT of noxious diesel fumes. I have been a fan of VEVOR products in the past but this thing ...I'm not a fan!

This is my second one of your diesel heaters I have one on front of my rv and one on the back This heater the remote has no window doesn’t make sense! My low review is only because of this no window on remote!!!! The remote is my understanding so you don’t have to go outside With no window you have to Such a bad idea Almost had my loyalty

Does not come with DC power connectors(battery clips) Very unclear on how to prime and get started. Fuel hose was kinked and did not allow fuel to flow.

I bought an 8K to more effectively heat my space than the 5K would, but since it does not, I have put the 5K back and the 8K is emergency backup if needed.

We had heard great things about the diesel heater . We tried it out on Dec31/Jan 1,2 1,st the diesel burnt up alot quicker than advertised We only had it on medium and it ran out about 4 am ... we made sure it was right gull the next night and it still ran out before morning . This heater may work at - 2 and up but was incapable of heating a camper van at -20
