Fait très bien son job. Nécessité que l'on presse le couvercle sur le récipient pour que l étanchéité se fasse. Mais ensuite le vide se fait très efficacement. Parfait pour debuller du silicone.

I had figured that it would leak, the glass would crack or something totally unexpected would happen. Well I've been running this at least twice a week for about six months now and it's yet to fail me. Been a fantastic addition to the shop. I've used this to stabilize spalted maple and various punky woods. Often running under vacuum for 5 to 12 hours. It's been an absolute pleasure and at a fantastic price point.

Le nettoyage de la cure au besoin se fait très bien, les joints tiennent bien le choc et les raccords sont toujours parfaitement étanches. Rien à redire.

On receipt, I was not able to get a seal between the lid and chamber without using the small clear split silicone piece on the rim of the chamber. Examination of the chamber top surface showed a small weld line depression that resulted in a leak path. I cleaned and filled the weld line with JB Weld Original epoxy. Now the chamber and orange lid gasket seal very well without the need of the extra clear silicone band. The chamber feels quite heavy duty, as does the 3/4" thick glass lid. The plumbing parts, including the gauge, all sealed well when assembled. The gauge zero'd perfectly when it was 'burped' by temporary removal and reinstallation of the black plug (I don't cut a vent hole in the plug because I often have the gauge upside down and I don't want the glycerin fill to leak). The orange lid gasket does have some less than smooth surface on one side but the other side is smooth all around. The hose connection tends to loosen over time while under vacuum unless well tightened before starting a vacuum run. I am able to pull a gauge reading of 26.5 in Hg at 4000' altitude and, with the valves closed and the pump off, hold it without measurable vacuum loss in excess of 48 hours. I am also able to maintain a leak-free dynamic vacuum for as long as I need to keep the pump running (max to date has been 16 hours continuous). After a number of runs (typically 12 hours / run) with stabilization resin (Cactus Juice), I have not observed any degradation in the orange seal or any of the vacuum line components. With the chamber rim leak fix, this unit is working very well for me.

Tank and pump are great, good fast hard vacuum. Only thing i dont like is mine wont seal without the silicon split gaskey. It is easily damaged, there is no part number or source for it. I need a replacement already.

Hned při prvním použití nedrží podtlak. Řešeno přes reklamaci nakonec nikam nevedlo, prostě to vyšumělo. hrnec je uvnitř poškrábaný a ten svár hrozný. Mám podezření, že přes ten svár to uniká. I když to tenké těsnění na hrnci taky nic moc, bylo pomačkané a vhozené do hrnce.

La camera a vuoto è una pentola di scarsa qualità con un coperchio di vetro che viene appoggiato semplicemente con la guarnizione in silicone. Siccome non chiude bene, l'istruzione dell'uso raccomanda di appoggiarsi con due mani per fare pressione per poter fare iniziare l'evacuazione della camera. Siccome i miei 80 chili spesso non bastano, ho messo due morsetti a barra per chiudere ermeticamente la pentola. Una maniglia della pentola si è staccato subito è, lavevo visto troppo tardi, era anche schiaccciato sotto come se fosse stato battuto. I rubinetti vicino al manometro chiudono male, bisogna studiare un po la loro positione.
