Installed on a 240V. 40 AMP breaker. Siemens Q type. Found the wire size 6-3 at home depot for a great price. The plug on this is rated 50 AMPS. Installed a 50 AMP receptacle with breaker on my outside wall in my driveway.
This charger is heavy, got a lot of weight to it. Feels like military build. Wire is heavy duty. The plug is plastic and seems a little flimsy, but works very well so far and I know it could be replaced.
Tested it on my EV with 40 AMPS setting, works well. Works with the Hyundai Blue Link APP.
The user manual was missing, waiting on VEVOR to provide it to me so I can connect the charger to an APP. Details on how to connect to APP should be available on the website.

This works perfectly with my Toyota RAV4 PHEV. The Level 1 charger that came with it is terrible, taking over 6 hours to fully charge the battery. With the VEVOR Level 2 EV Charger, it now only takes 2 hours, and it’s 50% cheaper than other brands. Definitely worth the money.
