Was looking for an inexpensive level 1 charger and found this one, sadly first one was dead on arrival, plug was bad fit and didn't connect/initiate charge, but the company made it right and the second one works like a charm. Great to have app support and ability to adjust amps delivered on the unit/in the app. The long cable is a plus as well. Not sure I would trust the gauge of the cable for 240/16A...but for my application it is good. Wishlist: both 120/240 wall plugs should be 90 degree angle, not straight out.

The (sale?) price was great, and it charges my car correctly. But... The instructions are atrocious: - Never explain what each button and indicator on the charger is - Include extensive instructions and photos not applicable to this model - Never give a step-by-step procedure to connect, charge, and then disconnect The charging is extremely slow. I connected the charger to the Smart Life app to see what's going on. The charger is set for 8A but actually pulls only 7.1A. I tried to raise the amperage, but with no effect. I am using my regular garage outlet, which is quite capable of supplying my 13A electric lawn mower; and there is nothing else on the circuit. My car is a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV LE, which (when new) comes with a level 1 charger that can switch between 8A and 12A. So I don't know why the best I get is only 7.1A.

Product works well. However the thick rubber coating covering the cables has separated from the charger box on both top and bottom. I wrapped both ends in black duct tape to secure against the box to ensure no future problems.

The device is OK but the app for it is worthless, so I would pass on this device for one that has its own integrated app instead of having to use a generic app that doesn't do what it should do. The app doesn't log the amount of power used per vehicle and other monitor logging that one would expect it should do.

I am only giving this charger 3 stars. the charger itself works great when charging the car and dose exactly what it's supposed to do. The negative is the mobile app, it's completely worthless! the charger doesn't support any data what so ever and the only thing is halfway good for it starting and stopping the charger all though I can't get it to work. your better off without the app at all.

Works very well and easy to set up. I was however disappointed in the phone app. I purchased this model for the phone app control and settings but will not work in North America. So my advice, but the cheaper model that does not offer the phone app. I did YouTube and the issue, it's there. You can subscribe to an app that works with the charger, for$30 a year that is kinda off useless.

I followed the manual book to adjust the current but always 12A no matter how I set it.

Stopped working after 6 months

My charger doesn't seem to work with the timer. I can only charge my car if I do it "now." It is very inconvenient, because I don't usually charge my car to 100%. I use the timer every night to charge for 3-5 hours at a time.
