I bought this for my workshop to use with multiple woodwork tools. I mounted it on a stud. Of the fact that I can pull it a different way Larson the fact that it lights up to show that the power is on. It works as described. I bother you recommend this for anyone that needs to reach an electric plug. I will give you a 5+

Perfect addition to my work shed. No more tangled extension cords

Put this retractable cord in my garage, works great and I've had no issues at all.

Got this for my garage workshop. No more do I have to get out an extension cord and wind it up when I am done. Mounted on the ceiling in the middle of the room, I can reach anywhere I need power. A quick tug and it's back out of the way. Wish I'd gotten one sooner.

Absolutely love it. I’ve attached it to my ceiling plugged it in next to the outlet for the garage door opener, and I can use it throughout my three car garage. I regret not buying one sooner.

Very good purchase. Very sturdy and solid design. Would HIGHLY recommend if you are in the market for one. You won't find one better!

Overall, this is a great retractable extension cord reel. Retraction is smooth and the build quality is solid. My only hiccup was on the power side: I initially bought it hoping to run various heavy-draw power tools, but quickly realized the amp rating wasn’t quite enough for what I needed. I ended up upgrading to a higher-amperage model for my main heavy tools and relocated this one to the shed, where it’s perfect for lighter equipment and general use. If the amp specs align with what you plan to plug in, you’ll be very happy with it!

Works great!

great to have a cord right at my side and not have to wind it up and store it
