THE HOSE REEL WORKS GOOD BUT WE LIVE IN ARIZONA......THE HOSE ITSELF IS BLACK.....WHILE WATERING, THE SUN HEATS THE HOSE UP TERRIBLE IN A VERY VERY SHORT TIME.....THEN WHEN YOU TRY REELING IT BACK UP, YOU HAVE TO WALK THE HOSE BACK BY HOLDING ONTO THE HOSE END NOZZLE OR IF YOU TRY RUNNING THE HOSE ITSELF IN WITH YOUR FINGERS, THE HOT HOSE REALLY BURNS YOUR HAND. ALSO, THE HOSE RETRIEVE SPRING IS SUPER STRONG SO YOU REALLY CAN'T JUST BE LET GO BACK BY ITSELF...IT WOULD SELF DESTRUCT SLAMMING INTO THE REEL CASING. THE HOSE SHOULD NOT BE BLACK. IT SHOULD BE REFLECTIVE WHITE OR LIGHT COLORED SO IT DOES NOT GET SO HOT. IT GETS SCALDING HOT IN SHORT MINUTES.

I was pleased with the price but disappointed with the overall quality. The mounting material is plastic without the adequate gusseting to prevent sagging of the hose reel with water in the hose. The hose reel works well to stop the hose .

My wife loves using it. I wish I had purchased the 5/8" version. The first time I dropped the hose onto a soft grassy lawn, the nozzle broke.

Usually vevor quality is always been superb. In this case one of the main reasons for ordering this setup was that it was advertised to have brass fittings. In reality it came with plastic fittings what usually do not last long time and start leaking. Ill need to order brass fittings separately. Otherwise it seems to be ok. Have not tested how well it will work for longer usage as its still spring here and have had no need for watering yet. Photo included of plastic fittings.

The nozzle broke for no reason after 2 months of use with no reason!!

The front face plate comes off and center tabs break. This is a big flaw in the construction as when the hose retracts the big orange ball makes contact with this and after a couple of retractions this is what happens. Now I never just let is retract on its own like all the videos show

Broke the casing came apart and VEVOR wants to offer $20 credit should replace it for free with the updated version

The body is very plastic like and not as durable as my Girraffe. The spring suck in when it likes, sometimes takes a few tugs to get it to react. The mount is also plastic. I really wanted the upgraded version but not sure how I ended up with this one.

Only used it about 10 times and already leaks at part where hose connects to hose sprayer. Disappointing

Great product but unfortunately the hose kinks way too often. And it seems to affect the hose material over time. I purchased it this spring and use it a few times a week, I will see in a year or so how well it will fare.
