THE QUALITY AND THE PRICE ARE GREAT. SO FAR IT OUT PERFORMS MY BROKEN PORTER CABLE. TABLE IS TO LOW AND THIN.

Wonderful machine, I use it almost daily. Very easy to use and assemble. Does what I need it to do. I use a lot of rough cut lumber and I don't have to spend days sanding to get it ready.

Addressing 2 complaints I've seen in other reviews: Regarding no instructions for putting the stand together - if you can't figure out how to put it together, you probably shouldn't be using power tools. Seriously. It's very simple and takes only the slightest modicum of common sense to see how it goes together. Regarding snipe at the end of the boards when you use it: all thickness planers that aren't set up correctly will have snipe. It took me 5 minutes to adjust the tables on both sides so that I don't get snipe. This is the first thickness planer I've ever owned, I just looked up a video for "how to get rid of planer snipe" and followed the instructions. For me, this planer is fantastic. There are certainly better-quality planers with more features, more or better blades, more powerful and whatever else, but they are far more expensive. The thickness guide on mine is accurate, it cuts smooth enough for what I'm doing, and it'll get my jobs done. I'd recommend this one for sure, and at this price it's a no-brainer.

WAS unable to use the planer because my WIFE IS NOT DOING good

Not bad. Good a good use of it for a couple of months. Changing blades is a little difficult and probably takes less time with practice. The diagrams were not super helpful :/. Lately even with the shop vac attachment it makes a mess. Maybe with some maintenance it can be good again

Sets up easily. The finish quality of the cut is pretty good. The stand is pretty light, but it was included so it’s good. The controls are light, but functional. Very good for the price.

Leaves a very nice finish. I've sent a bunch of oak through it and it still seems sharp. The stand that comes with it is to short to do anything but give you a sore back. The height adjustment is not very smooth. It could use a little more power. And sometimes it doesn't like to feed. Considering all that If you want a good planer at a low price this is a good buy.

I've had for couple of weeks. The planner is great. The stand is horrible, like others have said. I put 4" casters on the stand and the legs can't handle the weight. Sum it up very easy....machine good, stand crap

This was not the best product we have ever purchased from Vevor. Light weight not real accurate, poor instructions and missing parts. Since this purchase we have had much better success with products from Vevor that are much more durable and much better quality. We sold this and are looking at the newer Vevor planers
