Choose the right bit for the right job and it works. I run this off my portable generator and as long as I am using the correct bit, it works very well. I have had no problems with it in rock, limestone, granite, iron rock, hard pan clay, compacted dirt, gravel. I check the oil level in it before, during, and after use, I make sure it is clean and I make sure the bits are in good condition.

This looked to be of great quality and the price was very fair. Now that I’ve used this item I’m so glad that I purchased. If you need one this is overall a great buy.

Came damaged from improper packaging. The chisel was loose inside and pinched a hole in the machine. Vevor sent me a new undamaged one. Seems to work fone

I live in Texas, so yeah… limestone is everywhere. I had to dig a trench to run conduit for Google Fiber to my house, and this thing was a total lifesaver. It went through the limestone way easier than I expected—honestly like a knife through butter. Made a tough job a whole lot quicker and less of a headache. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re dealing with rock, hard soil, or anything like that.

Gave it a try. May have jumped the gun in the beginning. A seal may have came loose in it causing fluid to run down the bit when I tried it out. Will see what happened when I get the chance. Was just happy to see it run.

I have had several contractors quote on removing very old concrete steps and a exterior pad for a fireplace that was never built. The cost for a contractor to demo these was 4 times the cost of the Demo Jack Hammer. It is jut the right size and power and very affordable to do these small jobs. Now looking at doing some small foundation issues as well this summer. I also looked at renting from Home Depot but was double the price for the rental, purchase was an easy decision.

I have about 20 wooden posts that were set in 36" of concrete 40 years ago. The post are rotting out at the tops, so I have to put new posts into the old holes. I tried jacking the old concrete plugs out, but that did not prove very fruitful. I bought this Vevor Demo Jack Hammer as a last resort. Furthermore, I had no idea if an electric jack hammer was up to the task. As it turned out, this is one hell of a jack hammer. So far, I have 7 of the concrete plugs excavated. The hammer hits hard, really hard. The only downside is this thing is heavy, which helps when the hammer gets to pounding. But, I am 77 years old, so I have to stop every 5 minutes or so to recoup. If you have concrete that needs to be broken up, this is the ticket.
