As the saying goes you get what you paid for. I'm not overly disappointed with the purchased but I think there's room for improvement in the quality department. The channel drain itself is well designed but it could stand to be a little bit more sturdier. The connections between the sections also could be a little bit more secure. I ended up having to put metal corner brackets between the sections because they kept on disconnecting and I also used silicone to waterproof the seams. Other reviews you may have read about the size of the outlet to connect PVC or corrugated drain pipe are accurate. I found no elbows for couplings that will snuggly fit the outlet on the bottom of this drain. I modified it to work with other fittings but it's not ideal.

There is no way to connect to either 3 or 4 inch drain pipe! After talking by email to AI and no real person after asking several times I just gave up and accepted the $50 partial refund and I am going to duct tape it together!!!!

This is definitely not a good alternative to the options at big box stores. It’s flimsy and flexible rather than rigid and durable. There is no way it would hold up to vehicle traffic—it even flexes under my weight when I walk on it. The grates don't have enough openings, causing water to pool and bypass the channel when used alongside a driveway. To make matters worse, the pre-formed pipe connections aren't standard sizes, so I had to rig my own setup with extra fittings. I fully expect to replace this within a couple of years. Save your time and money.

I saw them on tiktok, tiktok was spying on me because I get floods when it rains hard so they free recommended it to me. No videos on tiktok ever showed anyone installing it, it was just people who received it and had it in their hands showing it off. No measurements, nothing. I ordered them, they arrived, I went to the hardware store to find the pipe to put it all together. Nothing fits. Went to various hardware stores, nope! Finally called vevor to see WTF was going on with their product. They said: "Oh, its because its metric in size not standard " then why are you selling them then?! I can find any metric size pipe here. You'd think if a big company like vevor wants to sell their products all over the globe they would make one hole metric and the other one standard! Nope!! Both are metric. Its lame. Its a waste of my time. A hurricane is building up in the Gulf of America and I shojkd of had this finished and done by now! If it floods,im suing vevor for incompetence!

There is no way to adapt these grates to an existing or new drain pipe. Great product but the current cut outs on the bottom of the grate doesn’t fit any existing drain sold in big box stores. So I made my own with my 3D cutter. Vevor should offer this or I can ship them out to the 85% of the customers that will need one. LOL Slides into the channel nicely and I made it thicker so it fits better than the existing stock option.

The trench system appeared to be good quality. The problem was the sizing, they need to have a narrow size available. It is a pretty large trench grating at 5 1/2 inches wide. I was looking for more around 3 -4, so I did not use.

Initially, these seemed like very good units and were priced competitively. But after using them and going through a wet season, I found they have a serious design flaw that limits their effectiveness. The slots are quite far apart…much further than others I have on my property. As a result, a considerable amount of water simply by-passes the slots and never enter the drain. This limits the effectiveness of the drains significantly. If the amount of water is “casual” this may not be an issue, but for the intended usage I had it compromises their use. I have had new grates made that work well and as would be expected. I would not buy these in the future as a result of this flaw….others I looked at have the slots much closer together.

We just opened it up and 4 of the grates are broken. We should have opened it up sooner, but still disappointing.
