Works great. The only thing is the legs are kind of wobbly when turning the crank. I'll probably try to strengthen them in some way.

This extractor worked very well. It wasn't hard to set it up. We made a platform for it to sit on, which helped with the wobble. It also helped raise it so a 5-gallon bucket fit under the gate. Easy to clean, as well. Overall, very happy with its performance.

Overall well pleased with this extractor the only thing I think needs to be addressed is the legs are very thin and weak. It makes it hard to try to stabilize when spinning:

My frames were slamming against the crank assembly so.. I had to cut about a half inch off of the shaft on the basket assembly (lowering the basket to make more room at the top). Now, it works.

It is a good low end extractor. The feet on my extractor has broken off after the first use. That is easily over come. I'm just concerned with what will be next.

I ordered this, then it started getting recent bad reviews. I thought I was going to have to return it. I tightened all the existing bolts due to previous reviews, but what I recieved is not bad at first inspections. No holes found, a few loose bolts, and the stability is an issue but can be resolved with bolts... Did I mention I ordered a "used" one with damaged packaging? Holds water just fine. Gave it a 4 only because you have to double check all of the bolt tightness, atleast for mine. I paid 160, and then it went on sale for 120 for reference

This unit will work for 2 deep frames or 4 medium frames. For a small scale operation it works okay. Assembly was easy. Pros are the price. Cons are that if you are using a screen sieve on top of a 5 gallon pail to collect the honey you will need to set it on 2x4s or the gate won’t be high enough to clear it. Not a deal breaker. Instructions suggest bolting the legs to plywood but I used it without doing it. You do not have to spin the frames fast in order to spin out the honey. A couple of minutes per side is all you need.

Our extractor arrived quickly, and works wonderful, but when it arrived one half of the lid was broken into pieces. I took a picture and emailed it in, but never heard a real back. It would be nice to have the lid completely in tact, if pos
