I needed a palm router for making some mortises in cedar stair noses to install hidden LED light strips. I looked at cordless but they don't come with anything but the bare tool for a price I'd be happy with. This router comes with much more than I needed though, now that I have it, I can see that I'll eventually use all of the bases. I bought Freud bits and found that I could pull the router through a 1/2 deep cut at 3/4" wide without it bogging down - so it's more than powerful enough to get the job done. None of the screws ever loosened up during use and the edge guide stayed true cut after cut. The plunge base stayed consistently smooth (not perfect but not problematic). The power switch is a bit fussy to find and the cord gets stiff when the weather gets cold but this is an occasional use tool and, for that use, it gets full marks. I'm no pro but I own lots of different tools for lots of different purposes and I would recommend this router to a buddy who needs one for a project.

Zoals beschreven. Hele mooie deugelijke machine met wat gewicht,voelt in iedergeval niet plastic aan je heb wat in handen. Geluid valt zeker mee. Een aanrader. Ik wilde ereen met stekker.

Quel dommage que le carnet d'utilisation et de montage soit en anglais !!!!!!! Serait-t-il possible de le recevoir en français ??????? Merci d'avance de votre réponse.

Great little router. The edge guide fits really loose on the base attachment though. Would be nice if they gave the dimensions of the bolt hole pattern of the base, so the average guy can make his own. If I remember correctly, the dimensions are 56mm and 54mm X axis and 48mm Y axis. Think the clearance hole is 3.5mm offset from center line towards the 54mm holes.

Aquisição feita para emparelhar com uma tupia makita(mesmo conceito).. A ideia é ter uma fresa de rebaixo e outra de bolear ou chanfrar cantos sempre montada, evitando assim mudar de ferramenta tanta vez... Surpreendentemente aquece menos que a Makita. Incrível equipamento pelo valor. Alterei o cabo de alimentação por um de borracha, o cabo que vinha de origem era muito curto e de plástico. PS. Cuidado ao efectuar alteração de cabo de alimentação, pois o variador de velocidade necessita manter a posição original, caso se desloque o módulo de local o potenciómetro deixa de funcionar e assume sempre a velocidade máxima.

Hands down a solid piece of equipment. Between the different attachments and router, you can't go wrong.
