I hate to say it but I'm not very happy with this Electric hoist. Everything i have bought from Vevor in the past has been totally awsome and I tend to lean more to this brand if I have a choice between an off brand and a Vevor brand tool. Unfortunately this hoist should not be rated to lift anything vertically. I was using this to lift 5 gallon buckets filled with concrete up onto scaffolding to fill concrete blocks. The buckets are not more than 100lbs so well under the rated lifting capacity of this hoist. After lifting just two buckets I realized this should not be advertised as a hoist to lift things. The cable was not winding evenly on to the spool and so the cable was filling only the center of the spool and then jamming and damaging the cable. I'm so disappointed. I think this is better suited to pull things horizontally like pulling a car into a garage or onto a trailer.

On the second time I used this portable winch, the cable went off the spool and jammed. I spent two hours trying to take it apart to repair it. No such luck. Upon inspection, the design could have been better to avoid the cable from jumping off the spool. Such a shame since the device could be quite useful. Had this jam happened on a vertical lift, that would have been a disaster. Did I receive a defective unit? I'm not sure. But if the design is similar across all units, user beware.

The crane worked great for a month. Then, the cable pulley crumbled and now it is useless. I took apart the unit to see why it quit working and found the hexagon shaped pulley was cracked. So, when the motor runs and the gears are spinning, the sprocket spins inside the pulley. So, the cable obviously doesn't move.

You people not reliable with the chipping or something you guys drop it off in the wrong address and you haven’t been able to contact me to give me a refund or to send me the stuff you guys don’t have a phone number to contact you guys direct that’s not good. I’m not gonna, recommend you all my friends you guys are not reliable

Junk, lasted only ten times of use and burnt up

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT AND WHEN I WENT TO TRY IT OUT IT WENT ABOUT 2 FEET WITHOUT A LOAD AND STOP WORKING. I BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TO DATE NO RESULTS. SOMEONE , FINALLY ANSWERED AND SAID THEY WOULD SEND 1 MORE OUT BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THE OTHER ONE WAS SENT.

I’ve had it in my garage stored properly, the very first time I opened the packaging and plugged it in the unit immediately tripped the breakers. I’ve tried multiple plugs on different circuits and have pressed the button that appears to be a breaker/gfi type thing on the unit. There’s no mention of how to trouble shoot this in the instruction manual. Make sure to get at least the one year warranty if you purchase this, I’m screwed.

I woudnt receommend this buy for anything over 150lbs everyday use. I bought 2 online, 1 burned out the first day. 2nd burned out after a week of use.
