I'm a DIYer, and bought this for a 4' chain link fencing project for my home in SE MN. I had about 10 pcs terminal posts and then 20 or so line posts to pound into soil. I thought pounding them in by hand would take too long and wreck my shoulders (I'm 75). So, I took a chance and bought this. My main concern was that it might be too heavy. So, I enlisted a helper and together we lifted it up about head high over the posts to get them started. After getting the pounder to rest on the top of the post the rest was easy. The posts pounded in very smoothly and quickly. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Gave it 5 stars because it is so well made! But- it is heavy, you will need to stand on something AND like many others said the on/off switch placement is terrible. You have to hold it one handed to work the switch- from running to off is the problem. One other thing. The drive cap is shallow and it’s difficult to hold it upright on the T post. I solved it with a 10” sleeve that fits inside their cap. I drilled and threaded the cap and use a set screw to hold the sleeve. Much easier. I used schedule 80 pvc as it’s lightweight but strong. Aluminum would be better.

Post driver works great in the very hard rocky dirt in north west Nevada. Would recommend. It’s got good weight, well built and has good impact power.

We, my son and I love it. It is heavy for an old man with a shoulder replacement and a bad 2nd one but I can hold the post and my son runs the driver. It puts a post in in about 10 seconds. I would recommend it for anyone building fence.

Excellent product, easy to use, would recommend it to anyone else that may need one, electric or gas.

It worked perfectly for the purpose I purchased it for, it drove 10’ 2-1/2” diameter pipes 9’ into the ground like it was butter!!😉 of course my soil is pretty sandy but nonetheless it was worth the effort and I will use this tool for my future dock next to my lake!! Thank You Vevor!!!

Very affordable, easy to use. Worked better than expected. Had a ton of power. Drive a schedule 40 pole , 4 ft into the ground with ease. Cheaper to buy one than to rent for 2 days. Definitely a good purchase!!!!

The driver works well in our NW Oklahoma soils, sets 6.5ft T posts easily in our ground. Have used it on about 1/2 a mile of T posts so far have not tried it on pipe posts yet. Handy to use only thing it needs is a squeeze trigger on the handle to turn it on instead of the toggle switch. I have a small generator that runs it easily.
