I have a above ground pool that I've been using floating chlorinator w 2 pucks about every 2-3 weeks. This pool ionizer has been working great. Pool is so clear and water tastes more like drinking water than pool water. No I don't drink it. But chlorine usage is down to one puck a month. Ph stays consistently at 7.2. I was skeptical at 1st but not any more. It works great so get one you will be glad you did!

I suppose it is working. The copper anode gets covered in a funky mess that must be scrubbed off on a weekly basis. My water has remained clear, although I cannot specifically attribute that fact to this device. The only thing that I am leery about is the thread size of the bolt that holds the copper anode to the float. I checked it with both an ANSI and a metric bolt checker and I could not determine the size. It is like an in-between size of metic bolt. This is concerning because the copper anode will eventually be consumed and need to be replaced. Since I don't know the bolt size, it will be hit and miss when buying a new replacement as there are a few "standard" sizes. As far as I can tell, VEVOR does not sell replacements, do it would have to be purchased from one of the many companies that do sell them. VEVOR, if you are listening, how about helping out here?

It was working well. Went to clean it with wire brush like instructions say. Now the blue plastic screw is stripped and will not hold the spring and basket in place.
