disappointed
the price was great. Quality i feel is well crafted. My disappointment comes when i went to use it. The whole spring latch cap had me hopeful until i went to use the spout. Turns out it just wont seat right and seal, so every time i go to use it i have about a 1/2 to 1 cup of fuel
(in my case Deisel) dribble out for every gallon or so i pour. It just makes for a stinky oily mess that i dont look forward to pouring now. The other style i bought with the twist on plastic cap and spout we normally see does appear to be a lot more promising however. I’ll review that can later, after I’ve tested it with water … now that its warmer outside.

Mr
Nice can, only problem is no back handle or seam on bottom for lifting to pour. Don't waste your money

These fuel cans are great, don't forget that BUT, the Vevor Customer Service is the worse in the world, if you have a problem you might as well hit your head against a cement wall. I bought 2 (black) cans, when they arrived one had a broken vent tube that was rattling around inside the can, a product of a poor weld. I contacted customer service and never got more than "we received your comment are will contact you within 48 hours" Never heard from them to this day. I saw to fuel cans on sale for the price of one so I bought two more (red). When they arrived a gasket for one of the pouring spouts was missing making the spout useless. Again I contacted customer service and got the same response. I still get the same messages from them every couple days but no gasket and no answer to the broken vent tube problem. DON'T BUY FROM VEVOR DIRECTLY, buy from a secondary seller like Walmart, Amazon or Northern Tool so you at least have someone who will listen to you when you have problems. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Vevor Jerry Can
Unfortunately, this can leaks so bad right out of the box, that we couldn't use it to fill our boat. We double checked everything multiple times, and I have decades of experience with gas cans and dozens of vehicles of all types. The pour spout leaks badly every time, sadly.

Nozzle leaks
There isn't much I can add to what others have said about the nozzle. I bought this can over a year ago and I finally had occasion to use it. When I installed the nozzle I noticed that it was poorly made. The metal work was imprecise. Whoever welded the pivot pins must have failed geometry and barely passed his welding certification. I can not really find any fault with the can, as of yet, but I do recommend buying a good funnel. Gas is too precious at this point to be watering the Earth with it. Find something not made in Shanghai would be my advice.

Thin metal - that leaks
I bought 2 of these in October of 2024 and they have already buckled on the side of both of them and now they both leak. I did not notice the crack in the can until I put 5 gallons of fuel in each of them, but once I took them out of my vehicle I found raw gasoline on the floor.
Buy your fuel cans somewhere else as I am now out $82 for leaking fuel cans.....
