Having used these types in the military, I had wanted to use them at home. Metal is not the same gauge. They contract like a cheap soda can depending on the weather. These are not left out in the weather either. And I am not talking about extreme weather!

Please see embedded: Main steam flow was directed to the blue tub. Smaller puddle next to the pan was dripped from the goose-neck-2-gaset-2canister joints. Paddle is smaller, but was enough to ruin my expensive pants :-(, as I was holding the canister in my hands. Redesign recommendation: 1. Thicker and lower durometer gasket; 2. Make sure that Chinese durometer standards are not the same as in USA. 3. Make sure that your gasket thickness is taking into account rubber creep/set with time. It should be also gasoline compatible (see gasket material compatibility with gasoline). 4. I can help you with the redesign if you are interested. not a fan, got 2 of these and they BOTH leak from the spout when trying to fill something..... absolutely useless..

Only filled it once and the gasket for the pour spout is already leaking.

When you put gas in tank it leaks!

Expected the durability and function of a jerry can. The pour spout leaks a small drip some times and then pours out others. Tried readjusting the seal and still leaks the same way.

I normally love vevor, I genuinely believe that given the price and the range of products available, they are hard to beat. I got this cans a few months ago and finally got around to using them. The first can was amazing, locks great, can bounce around and never leak. Went to fill the truck up with it and it maybe dropped 5 or 6 drops. But then I used the second can, it was a nightmare. I thought the seal can looked fine, and it didn't leak getting moved around, went to use it and a tidal wave of gas poured out. The seal to the spout was astonishingly bad. It easily leaked 300ml of gas on the ground. I would love to buy more cans but if this is the quality then I need to look elsewhere. I believe this was a factory defect and I hope vevor makes it right. I still believe vevor makes a great product, but I hope they stand by the quality.
